I emailed and posted two videos on how to log into your email account and also how to complete the assignments in Newsela. Please look at both videos to help refresh your memory.

Directions:
Pick one writing prompt to complete in ELA notebooks or on paper. Label the number of each prompt as you complete it. You may complete more than one for extra writing practice. Each writing response should be 2 paragraphs.

Days 6-10
Read a
non-fiction book independently every day for 25-35 minutes and choose one of the reading response menu items to answer in your notebook. Mark the box and your notebook as you complete each response. 



Directions: After reading in your independent book, chose 1 prompt. Complete fiction reading prompt by responding in 2 paragraphs (10-20 sentences). Write the number prompt you chose for each day.
